Lincoln Medical Center (originally named Lincoln County Hospital) was built in 1969 following the donation of land by the county and proceeds from Lincolnton's old Reeves-Gamble Hospital by the Gamble family. It currently stands as a privately owned, 101-bed, acute care hospital.
A proud accomplishment we've achieved is to establish ourselves as one of the premier hospitals in our country. This recognition came in the form of a highly rated assessment by the Joint Commission on Accrediation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
